Gundam MASTERPIECES @ MAC forums 081411

As much as I want to blog about Gundam promos and other Gundam or Gunpla stuffs not related to our MAC forums, I am already pre occupied with featuring the great finished model kits shared to us by our dear members everyday. Besides we already have our good friends guNjap and Gundam Guy for that.

I actually just featured some great kits yesterday but these people just keep on pouring great stuffs! I have here today 5 completed and painted model kits shared to us by our dear MAC forums members.

Aside from the stunning painting and subtle modifications of the Master Grade Chars Zaku ver 2.0 below, The technique that caught my attention is the painting of the internals with the same color as the gold armor parts. Great move as it made those internal parts look like modified armor parts just by painting! Very good technique for those who want a quick unique mod to their kits. This stunning yet weathered build of a master grade 00 QAN(T) was modeled by MAC forums member and fellow Filipino Gunpla modeler KINAMO. Aside from the nice weathering, good decal work and nice colors, what caught my attention is the stunning photography! Great job from a fellow Filipino! Here is the link to his feature…

Another young Filipino modeler made the Masterpieces Link fest today. This 1/100 Verde Buster Gundam was modeled as REIRASWRATH. Very good color tones were used in his build and the photography is very nice too. A bit of clean up on the modifications but the overall build is very promising. Here is the link to his feature…

Last but not the least is this intricately painted SD BB kit of the Sazabi! The colors were painted with Mr.Color lacquers as evident with the brilliance of the metallic paints.
